I knew I wanted to make psychology a profession since high school. There was that period of time, however, I thought being a math teacher would be fun. With that short-lived idea behind me, I kept my sites on being a psychologist. I had a curious mind, loved to read, and was a high achiever. A declared psychology my major in undergrad from the start. The idea of helping people make sense of their world and to feel better felt like my calling. Not too far into my studies, I realized to a greater extent than I ever understood, that I dove into this not only to help others, but to help myself. And so began my journey of exploring with curiosity my own feelings, behaviors, and relationships. You are not alone. You are not broken. And we have more in common than you may think.

Now with 20 years of experience, I can easily say that I love my job. Whether you have reached out for help in the past or are seeking it out for the first time, I look forward to getting to know you.
